Beam has changed a lot since it’s initial release and we still make improvements every single day. Here you can find every update since we’ve launched version 2.0.
Beam 2.5.2

Our first update of the year and boy does it feel good to be back! We’ve been on a bug hunting spree and squashed a lot, resulting in nice list full of fixes. We hope you enjoy it!

Beam 2.5
We’re celebrating! Beam made quite the journey over the last couple of years. Version 2.5 might not sound like a lot, but boy did we get some work done between Version 1.0 until now. If there’s one request we kept on getting, no matter what version it was, it was to bring Beam to the iPad. Well, we’re celebrating and our gift to you is Beam for iPad. An early version, but if you promise to use Beam for iPad and send us some feedback, then we’ll promise to put in some extra work. Thank you and enjoy!

Hi everyone, this update needs a little explanation. Beam 2.4.1 was submitted to the App Store over a month ago, but was rejected due to content not loading on a IPv6 network. In the meantime, we worked hard on 2.4.2, with more new features and fixes. So, we decided to mash them together. We hope you enjoy this - bigger than normal - update!
New features:
- Filter subreddits from /r/all.
- Filter posts using keywords.
- Disable post marking in settings.
Fixes:
- Fix for spontaneous reloading of subreddit's posts.
- Removed text requirement for text/self posts.
- Fix for swiping, showing subreddits instead of previous view.
- Fixed a bug that made text with underscores look weird.
- Fix for incorrect status bar color on iOS 10.
- Performance improvements on iOS 10.

We’ve just released 2.2.1 with some new features and fixes. This release improves the small and none image thumbnail options.
We also fixed a nice number of bugs and crashes, especially some crashes when viewing images have been fixed.

- User getting logged out when you have no internet connection when starting Beam.
- Swiping comments occasionally crashes app.
- After dismissing app store review popup, sometimes shows up again.
- Returning to Beam does not load content any more.
- Improved quality for (long) images.
- Gallery does not display descriptions in detailview.
- Display less than 25 links at once causes Beam to not show more content.
